WordPress, Theme, and Plugins Installed – $499
Need everything setup and configured, thus WordPress, Theme, and the Listing/Agent plugins, plus 20 more ideal plugins installed? Well, you’re looking at $499. Want to display MLS listings too? You can add it yourself, or we can do it for you for about $100 extra, granted it’s with IDXBroker.com or dsIDXpress.com as we’re most familiar with their systems and thus can work quickly.
Includes:
- A WordPress real estate site that you can control, such as the ability to add and edit pages, listings, upload property photos and videos, audio, and of course update your blog.
- Installation and configuration of your WordPress website with HostGator, InMotionHosting, AddAction.net, DreamHost.com or BlueHost web hosts. Please note that you’re responsible for hosting fees and account set up.
- A real estate theme of your choice. It’s highly suggested you go with Theme D5 as you can easily change backgrounds, logos, colors, etc., which is not possible with our other themes unless you’re tech savvy.
- WordPress plugins: All of the necessary plugins will be installed so that it functions as a real estate site and then some.
- One hour of design changes, such as adding your existing logo, changing header text/photos, etc.
- A simple contact (lead generation) form on every page, plus a more detailed form on the main contact page.
- Free Web site statistics, such as what keywords people are using to find your site.
- An XML Sitemap that is automatically updated every time you add another page, property, or post.
- Agent profile(s) with phone and fax number, email address, photo, FaceBook and Twitter links, etc.
- 1 Hour WordPress support, consulting, and real estate marketing/SEO advice via email.
The Details:
If we can go with one of my existing WordPress real estate sites, I can have your site online within 48 hours. If, however, you choose one of my mock-ups, it’ll probably take 1-2 weeks to turn around. Please understand that the “mock-ups” are Photoshop designs at this point and thus need to be converted into WordPress real estate themes; You know, with all the coding and such.
You would be responsible for adding the content and listings (very simple), as well as adding other plugins if you so choose, but it’s not necessary…you’ll have just what you need when we’re done. The other plugins can be literally installed in one click. Again, no exaggeration. Some need more input than others, but most of it’s self-explanatory and doesn’t require programming, or even a “tech” person for that matter. You can do it!
Terms of Service. Important, please read:
1. If you go with a web hosting company, other than the ones mentioned above, chances are it’ll incur an additional fee. Reason being is that I have to now learn their systems, and some, well, take a bit to understand, thus taking longer development time and subsequent costs to the client. On that note, while I’m a GoDaddy affiliate, I highly discourage them for a WordPress real estate website. Why? Because it can run very, very, very slow at times. I’ve tested the exact same real estate site on 4 different hosts (HostGator, InMotion, AddAction and Go Daddy) and it performed perfectly on all…but Go Daddy. It doesn’t get any more of a side by side comparison than that.
2. All changes and additions, above the included free development time, will be billed at the $100/hr rate.
3. If you choose to have MLS listings displayed on your site via IDX (I only work with dsIDXPress and IDXBroker), you are responsible for their set-up and monthly fees. I simply charge to integrate their plugin into the design, which is something you can do if so desired.
4. All designs and themes remain the property of WP4RE.com, however, you are free to do with them what you want, except distribute them in anyway.
5. While PayPal is preferred, you can pay via check or money order, too. Just contact me and I’ll send you my address.
Final Note:
It has taken me so long, after so much research for this market, to get it nailed. This naturally helps me steer my real estate clients in the right direction, thus maximizing their success rate while minimizing their trial and error. My very first clients, back in 1996, were all real estate companies. One of them, NWColorado.com, since ’98, is still my client. That said, I know the real estate industry very well, and of course using WordPress for real estate websites and blogs, so I’m not just a web developer, I’m a WordPress Real Estate Specialist!
